E L L I E R O S E ~

I woke up next morning to the annoying sound of my alarm. I didn't go to bed until like 4 in the morning. I was up all night thinking about what happened. What's Mason hiding from me? Why's he suddenly so close with his ex if he doesn't like her at all? I feel completely drained. I shook my head and got up from the bed walking to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth than hop in the shower stripping off my clothes. I washed my body taking a quick shower.

"Ellie, I'm off!" Mum shouted. I stepped from the bathroom with towel wrapped around my body. "Have a nice day, mum!" I replied and went to my closet. I quickly changed into something casual. I did my hair in a lower ponytail leaving some hair strands and grabbed my bag making my way downstairs.

I walked out from my home to see Vincenzo standing with his arm crossed over his chest leaning against the white gorgeous car. Which belongs to him I guess. He was wearing riped pant and casual navy blue shirt. He's looking handsome. but Wait- is he here waiting for me?

When his green eyes meet mine, a smile twitching on his lips.

(Ellie's Outfit)

"Hey cara mia, would you like to go for a coffee with me?" He asked when I walked to him. My eyes narrowed at him. "Well it's just a coffee only not date, so relax" he lightly chuckle. "If I say no, than?" I asked raising my eyebrows with arm crossed over my chest.

"I've been waiting for you for hour and if you're going to say no to me than my poor heart will broke into pieces" he replied pretending to get hurt. "Fine" I lightly chuckle causing him to smirk gorgeously.

"I knew it, you can't say no to me, cara mia" he said opening the car door for me. "Don't flatter yourself Vincenzo Ferrari" I sneered at him causing him to chuckle. I got in the car and he closed the door before walking to his side and getting in than droving off.

"How was your date in paris?" Vincenzo asked taking a quick glanced at me. "Perfect" I mumbled playing with my fingers. Vincenzo hummed not taking his eyes off of the road. I don't want to think about mason. I'm just so disappointed on him. It's like he forgot about me after getting his ex back.

"Vincenzo, how was the relationship between sophia and mason?" I asked looking over at him. "How do you know about her?" He asked getting surprised. "I saw her with mason yesterday In his office" I replied as he let out another hummed.

"Honestly, Mason used to love sophia way too much but she cheated on him for not only once but many times and after that mason break up with her" Vincenzo said stopping the car in front of the coffee shop. "

I looked down taking a deep breathe. He used to love her way too much. Maybe he's still in love with her. God, it hurts so bad.

"Let's go, We're here" Vincenzo says unbuckling his seat belt and as I was about to do mine, he unbuckle it for me. Our forehead touching. "Thank you" I mumble when he glanced into my eyes than at my lips. Our face were so close. I blink and quickly got out from the car as well as him. I took a deep breathe walking inside with Vincenzo.

As we sat down on the couch talking about our case, My eyes stopped at the front table and my eyes instantly got widened when I noticed It's Sophia sitting on Mason's lap. His one of the tattooed arm wrapped around her waist while they're talking with a man wearing suit. I couldn't see that man face since his back was facing me. It was like they're in a serious conversation. I felt a hard pain in my chest when sophia peck him on his lips and he even let her. Tears filled my eyes.

"What the fuck?" Vincenzo clenched his jaw when his eyes also stopped on the front table over them.

That's it, I got it. He still loves her. He was just playing with my feelings. Anger, betrayal, regret this is what I was feeling at this moment. My chest aches from the pain. I just can't take it anymore. But why am I getting mad? I don't have any right to get mad but how could he do this with me? Tears rolling down my cheeks as I look away from them. Without thinking anything I got up from my seat walking over to their table. Mason's eyes immediately grown widened when he looked up at me and pushed sophia off of his lap standing up so that he was now face to face with me.

"I thought you're busy? Oh, Busy with her?" I asked with tears in my eyes. "It's not like what are you thinking, I can-" But I cut him off. "I don't want to hear anything Mason. I'd enough. I actually meant nothing to you and I was just a another sex toy for you" I said causing his jaw to clenched. "Just fucking listen to me Ellie!" He yelled. By now people were staring at us while Sophia stands there with arm crossed over her chest smirking.

"Look at me, I'm doing this all for you bella" he cupped my face But I just pushed him away.

"I hate you.." I said as he stared at me with so much pain in them. "God knows why did I loved you at the first place, Mason" I whispered the last part. He was freezed hearing the three words that left my lips.

"You didn't mean that, baby pleas-" he said reaching out his hand to touch me but I Instantly stepped back. I can feel the frustration in his voice. He's almost sound out of breathe.

"I hate you, I hate you so much" I whispered. "Just please listen to me for once-" but I interrupted him.

"Mason... I can't do this with you anymore" I said wiping off my tears but it keeps coming back from my eyes again causing his jaw to tightened.

"Bullshit! Ellie- just fucking listen to me-"

But I turned on my heels and just stormed out from the coffee shop but Mason grabbed my arm and pulls me to him making me gasp. He grabbed my hand put it on his chest looking into my eyes. "Do you feel this? If I don't love you than why my heart beats so fucking faster everytime I look at you?"

"Why can't I get you out of my fucking mind the whole time?" He asked gently squeezing my hand. "I'm too fucking afraid to lose you, bella"

I can feel how fast his heart beating. It's racing and it might be explode anytime now. I know he's in pain too. His eyes filled with so much pain and hurt in them. Another gasp left my lips when he pulled me more closer to him. My chest pressed against his.

"Look into my eyes and tell me you don't love me anymore"

I felt more tears filling my eyes as I looked away from him trying to move away from him. People were staring at us as he cupped my face and pressed his lips against mine. A tear roll down my cheek when I closed my eyes feeling his soft lips against mine. I shook my head and broke the kiss to look around.

"I don't give a damn fuck if every single- no, the whole goddammit world watching us" he cupped my face and before I knew it, he captured my lips in a hard and deep kiss causing everyone here to gasped louder. I wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him back. God.. I didn't knew I love him so much. I'm in so damn love with him. This time a tear fall down but it wasn't mine. It was Mason's. He's crying.

Mason Williams crying for me. How can a so strong man like him is crying for me to stay? I part our lips to breathe as he leaned his forehead against mine.

"Mason we'll see them" Antonio shout causing Mason to nod his head. My grip on his arm got tightened.

"Mason get the hell out of here with Ellie as fast as you can! They'd found out about Ellie" Matteo said. I glanced up at Mason to see his jaw clenched.

"We'll handle it" That's all Matteo said and glance at me. He's sound almost out of breathe. What does he mean by 'they found out about me?' A gasp left my lips and I shut my eyes tightly closed as I heard gun shots nearby. People screaming and running trying to saving their life. Woman screams filled

"Fuck" Mason cursed and didn't waste a second before lifting me up in the bridal style and I wrapped my arms around his neck burying my face at the crook of his neck when he began to carried me towards his car. He got inside the car with me on his lap and started the engine, speeding off. Thousands of questions running in my head.

It was silent in the car until Mason plant a kiss on my head mumbling 'I love you'. I pull out my head from the crook of his neck to pressed my lips against his. "Are we going to die?" I mumbled against his lips when he stopped the car in front of a beautiful lake and his jaw tightened. He cupped my face.

"I won't let anything fucking happens to you, I swear Ellie. I'm not going to let you die. Do you hear me?" He says sternly. A tear roll down my cheek as I leaned my forehead against his broad shoulder. "I don't want to lose you" I whispered when he began to run his hands through my hair gently. "We'll live Ellie. You won't lose me, I Promise you" He kiss my hair.

"We'll be okay"

It was silent in the car as we stayed like this for some minutes.

"I'm sorry for hurting you. I never meant to hurt you" he whispered kissing my cheek. Yes, He hurt me but I've to forgive him because I love him too much to let go and I know he does too. "It's okay" I mumbled kissing his perfect jaw. He slightly smile kissing my forehead.

"I've to get you in a safe place first, Tesoro" he squeezed my thigh. My safest place is him. I felt safe whenever I'm with him. A gasp left my lips when Mason pulled out a gun from his suit pocket causing my eyes to grow widened.

"It's a g-gun" I whispered seeing the dangerous weapon in front of me. "Can I touch it?" I glanced at him. "Careful there baby" he kiss my cheek when I slowly trace my finger tips over the gun. I've never seen it in my real life before. But Why's he carrying a gun with him? I bite down on my lip and he let out a growled. Mason put the gun down on the seat beside him before giving my ass cheek a tight squeezed making me moan.

"What did I told you about biting your lips, hm?" he licked his lips before capturing my lips in a hard deep kiss. I quickly kiss him back while my hands began to unbuttoned his black shirt but he grabbed my hands.

"Bella, You've to know something" he said breathlessly parting our lips. "It's really important for you to know.. just don't freak out, okay?" He peck my lips as I gulped slowly nodding my head. Mason took a deep breath intertwining our fingers. It was like he's afraid that I might run away. He kiss my hand and looked into my eyes causing my heart to beat faster.

The next thing that left his mouth made my heart stopped.

"I'm a Mafia leader.. "
